Why Health Care Shouldn't be a Business
Jan. 11th, 2006 03:35 pmSo I had assumed stuff like this goes on. Especially since my own health care insurance only pays my doctor if he doesn't refer me to a specialist. And that whole thing where the reason new antibiotics aren't being developed, despite the danger of super-immune bugs, is b/c it wouldn't be profitable enough and the not developing an AIDS vaccine because the cocktail is so much more profitable than preventing the disease. But, here's more evidence.
