Damn Civilization

So, they're putting water and sewer lines into our neighborhood which means a big fat bill for my parents and a major inconvenience for everyone who lives around here as our road is currently a twenty foot deep trench. Not to mention the fact that for some reason known only to the city council they work 12 hour days which means that from 7-7 there are earth shaking pounding noises coming from just outside our front door. This is so not good for my headache. This is clearly regression rather than progress.
